With the Deepwater Horizon tragedy now in its ninth week, the toll is staggering and continues to grow with no end in sight. Coastal communities on the Gulf are facing the biggest environmental catastrophe in U.S. history.
Amid the reactionary finger pointing, why doesn’t the public discourse surrounding this disaster include the fact that the 2 million barrels released so far is less oil than we Americans consume in two hours? ...
