17th Special Focus on the Environment
The 17th annual Heinz Awards continue the special focus of the last two years and honor the contributions of individuals whose remarkable mix of vision, creativity and passion has produced significant achievements benefitting the environment. The work of our recipients addresses the intersection of the environment with one of the traditional award categories, including Arts and Humanities, Human Condition, Public Policy, and Technology, the Economy and Employment.
As in the last two years, we recognize those who value the importance of our natural resources, who educate and inspire through art and design, who work to protect the health of our citizens, all to ensure our future on a sustainable planet.
The 18th Heinz Awards will return to the original five categories.
